The all-cotton fabric breathes way better than the synthetic caps I've had, so my head doesn't get sweaty on long walks. The 3-inch brim gives just enough shade without blocking my whole view.
The six-panel shape actually holds up after being shoved in a bag all week, which is more than I can say for my last cap. The 3" brim is just enough to keep sun off my face without looking like a fishing hat. Adjustable strap fits my head fine, no sliding around on windy walks.
