The mesh back keeps my head from getting sweaty on hot days, which is exactly why I wanted a trucker style in the first place. The adjustable strap in the back actually stays put too, no constant readjusting. Cotton front feels soft right out of the box.
Wore this on a hike last weekend and forgot I even had it on. The cotton front doesn't get sweaty like my old all-polyester cap, and the adjustable strap actually stays put.
The mesh back actually keeps my head cool on long walks, which I didn't expect from a cotton cap. Only wish the strap had a bit more length for a looser fit.
