The cotton is genuinely soft, not that stiff kind you get with cheaper boy shorts, and the thick waistband stays put without digging in. The little button detail on the side is a nice touch I didn't expect to notice. Wore them all day under jeans and forgot I had them on.
I sized up because of the 26" waist measurement and they fit perfectly without digging in. The thick elastic waistband stays put through a full day of chasing my toddler around. Cute little button detail too, way better than my old plain pairs.
