The gold button detail is small but it catches the light nicely, and the 2 inch size holds my thick bob back without any slipping. Clasp feels sturdy too, not flimsy like the cheaper ones I've tossed.
I have fine hair and most barrettes slide right out, but this little gold button one actually grips and stays put all day. The clasp feels sturdy for something this small, and it doesn't snag when I take it out.
