The mesh back actually keeps my head cool on long walks, which I wasn't expecting from a trucker cap. The adjustable strap in the back fits my head fine without leaving a dent, and the exposed stitching on the brim gives it a nicer look than plain caps.
Wore this to a ballgame in July and the exposed stitching on the brim got more compliments than my shirt. The adjustable strap actually stays put, unlike my last cap.
The mesh back keeps my head from overheating on walks, which is exactly why I bought a trucker style. The brim is a bit stiff and the ivory shows sweat marks faster than I'd like, but the adjustable strap fits fine.
