The cotton is soft right out of the box, no stiff break-in period like my old cap needed. The 3-inch brim gives just enough shade without blocking my whole view, and the adjustable strap actually stays put.

Wore this to a doubleheader and the adjustable strap in back never slipped once. The 3-inch brim blocks sun without blocking my view of fly balls.
