Wore this straight out of the package for a weekend trip and the cotton already feels broken in. The embroidered N.Y. is crisp and the adjustable back actually stays put instead of slipping. Brim holds its shape too, even after getting shoved in a backpack.
The dark green is deeper than it looks online and the white NY embroidery really pops against it. Brim is a solid 3 inches so it actually shades my face on walks, and the adjustable strap cinched down enough for my small head. Wore it all day at the ballpark and forgot it was on.
The dark green is a nice change from the usual navy or black, and the white N.Y. embroidery pops without looking loud. Only knock is the brim — at 3 inches it's a bit shorter than I expected, so it sits closer to a dad hat on me. Still, the cotton is breathable and the adjustable back actually stays
