These are the softest boy shorts I've bought in a while, and the thick elastic waistband actually stays put instead of rolling down. The button detail is a cute touch, and the 96% cotton feels breathable enough for all-day wear. Washing them a few times now and they haven't lost their shape.
The cotton is soft and the 9.5 inch rise sits just right without digging in. Only thing is they run a bit snug through the hips, so keep that in mind if you're between sizes.
The thick elastic waistband actually stays put instead of rolling down like my old pairs. I sized up since the 26" waist felt snug on the chart, and that worked out fine. Wish they came in a multipack, but the button detail is a cute touch.
